Dublin-based pharmaceutical logistics company COREX Logistics has appointed Mark Woolf as Chief Operating Officer in a strategic move to enhance operational capabilities as the company scales its global clinical trial supply chain services.
Woolf brings over 18 years of extensive expertise in clinical trial supply chain logistics, quality assurance, and vendor management across multiple international markets, including extensive experience in European, Middle East, African and APAC regions.
The appointment comes as COREX Logistics continues to expand its operations and services under the leadership of CEO Steve Healy, who joined the company earlier last year to drive the organisation’s international growth strategy.
In his new position, Woolf will oversee COREX Logistics’ operational strategy as the company expands its global footprint and enhances its service delivery capabilities across its 80+ country network.
CEO Steve Healy said: “With his proven track record in clinical trial operations, global logistics, and supply chain resilience, Mark brings the operational excellence and executional focus we need at this critical stage. Together, Mark and I will lead the organisation into its next phase of growth — aligning our leadership strengths, networks, and industry experience to deliver reliable, innovative, and patient-centric solutions on a global scale.”
Woolf commented: “I’m excited to join COREX Logistics at such a pivotal moment in the company’s growth. The organisation’s commitment to delivering exceptional clinical trial logistics solutions, combined with its strong presence in key markets, creates an excellent foundation for our next phase of expansion. I look forward to working with the talented team to enhance our operational capabilities and continue delivering the reliable, patient-focused services our clients depend on.”
The appointment represents COREX Logistics’ continued commitment to building a leadership team that combines deep industry expertise with a shared vision for shaping the future of clinical trial logistics and supply chain management.
COREX Logistics Founder Andrey Tarakanov, who remains with the business focusing on strategic projects, welcomed the appointment: “Mark’s extensive international experience and deep understanding of complex supply chain requirements make him the ideal leader to drive our operational strategy forward as we continue to scale our operations and strengthen our position in both emerging and established markets.”
