Dan March appointed WCA CEO

Dan March has been appointed chief executive officer of forwarding network, WCA, taking over from David Yokeum, who is becoming chairman.

Prior to his promotion, March had been working at WCA as communications director. Yokeum is becoming chairman while Ram Menen, who worked for Emirates SkyCargo for almost three decades, is joining the global supervisory board.

Menen will be joined on the non-executive board by Eric Fady, who has worked in senior executive positions in the finance sector, Philip Bilney, the FP Marine Risks group chief executive and Jim Barnhart, who has worked in logistics for 40 years.

March comments: “This is an exciting time for WCA, as we continue to grow our global footprint and offer members new services and opportunities to connect with each other and develop their businesses.”

Yokeum says: “Dan and I work well together as a team and he has become intimately involved in commercial and management aspects of WCA over the last few years.”

Menen says: “I am delighted to join the supervisory board of WCA at this very exciting time in the network’s development. WCA has already proven to be a highly innovative company that provides true benefits for the global freight forwarding community.”
