Flower focus for American and Hawaiian

American Airlines Cargo and Hawaiian Airlines Cargo have been added by the California Association of Flower Growers and Shippers (CalFlowers) to its list of transportation partners.

The association says the providers offer competitive shipping rates to CalFlowers members, allowing them to be competitive in national and global flower markets.

CalFlowers’ mission is to get flowers from the field to consumers, and provides members with a number of transportation services partners to maximise flower freshness and speed to wholesale and retail markets.

Air Canada, Alaska Air Cargo, Delta Airlines Cargo, FedEx, OnTrac, Southwest Cargo and United Airlines Cargo also participate in the program, offering members a variety of shipping options in and outside of California.

CalFlowers continues to expand its membership, recently adding Bergerons Flowers; Dahlia; Delaflor Latin America; Gourmet Specialties; Heart of Florida Greenhouses; Hortus; Plazoleta Bazzani; Rainbow Flower Farm; and Shaw Lake Farms.
