Lufthansa Cargo resumed Tel Aviv freighter flights

Lufthansa Cargo has officially resumed operations in Tel Aviv.  The airline is ramping up cargo services and will offer five regular weekly freighter flights starting 2 February 2025, operating with Boeing 777F and Airbus A321F aircraft.

The first Lufthansa Cargo freighter flight back to Ben Gurion International Airport was led by senior leadership, including Stephanie Pöhn-Helbig, Head of Middle East, Africa, South Asia & CIS, and Captain Matthias Lehmann, Head of Transport Management & Flight Operations. Upon arrival, they were welcomed by Shaul Grimberg, Head of Sales and Handling Israel, along with his local team.

“We are now ramping up our operations, and as of 2 February, we will be offering five regular weekly freighter flights with our B777F and A321F again,” says in LinkedIn post.

The passenger airlines of the Lufthansa Group will also resume flights to Tel Aviv from 1 February.

Over the last few months, airlines across the globe suspended flights to a host of Middle Eastern locations due to the outbreak of fighting in the region.
