Menzies Aviation expands into Pakistan with new offices

Menzies Aviation has announced the inauguration of its first global support offices in Pakistan marking a significant milestone in the company’s commitment to foster growth and innovation in the region.

To mark the inauguration of the new IT Infrastructure and Service Desk, Menzies’ Group CEO, Philipp Joeinig was joined by Pakistan’s Prime Minister, Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif to unveil a commemorative plaque inaugurating the offices.

A delegation, which included Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar and Minister of State for IT Shaza Fatima Khawaja along with Menzies’ SVP Operations MEA, John Henderson also came together to discuss the opportunities to foster collaboration and encourage sustainable economic growth.

The new offices, located in Islamabad, Pakistan will serve as a hub for the multi-national business’s IT and service operations. This strategic move highlights its long-term vision to strengthen its footprint in South Asia, driving innovation and delivering world-class solutions to its airline customers and airport partners.

Menzies new offices build on its existing presence in Pakistan where it currently operates as Menzies RAS following a joint venture with Royal Airport Services (R) in 2020. Menzies-RAS employs more than 2,800 people and operates at eight airports across the country, including Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar, Multan, Faisalabad, Quetta and Sialkot.
