HAE becomes GSSA for Blue Air in Ireland

UK air cargo service provider HAE has announced a new general sales agent agreement in a working partnership with Romanian airline Blue Air.

The company says it will be responsible for all sales and customer service activities for the carrier in the Republic of Ireland. Blue Air operates four flights per week from Dublin direct to Bucharest and Bacau.

HAE says Blue Air can now provide Irish exporters direct access to Romania and beyond to all their European destinations.

The Blue Air network covers Belgium, Germany, Italy, Spain, Greece and Cyprus with daily flights from Romania and says it has minimum turnaround time in Romania of just two hours which offer customers “unparalleled transit times across their European network”.

Yesterday, HAE announced the acquisition of Groupair in South Africa, a neutral consolidator providing air, sea, road and courier services.
