Celebi Aviation Holding announced executive team changes

Çelebi Aviation, the pioneers in the aviation industry operating on 3 continents, in 5 countries and at more than 40 stations, has made two key changes to its executive team.

Thomas Konietzko, the Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing, has decided to step down from his current position for personal reasons. He has chosen to pursue his career in a different role. Cem Şensöz has been appointed to resume the role of Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing and will be joining as a member of the Executive Committee. The Sales and Marketing department of Çelebi Aviation Holding and the entity’s sales functions will be directly reporting to him.

“Konietzko joined the Çelebi Group in June 2018. Since that time, he has made significant contributions to the Çelebi Aviation Group’s management of Sales and Marketing activities,” Dave Dorner, CEO of Çelebi Group, said.

“He succeeded in streamlining commercial processes, for the improvement and evolution of the function across the organisation. This was an important goal set out at the beginning of Thomas’s tenure, and he made good progress in achieving the set goals during the past five years. Sales and Marketing became more structured function in the company and largely contributed to the development and success of the organisation’s business targets.”

Çelebi Group CEO, Dave Dorner, has also indicated that “Şensöz has spent the last 14+ years of his career working in India, and as Managing Director of GH India, he has made significant contributions to the company’s success and expansion. His contribution to the growth of GH services in India and the company’s operations has been significant, and he maintains a solid track record of successful professional accomplishments. Çelebi Aviation welcomes Cem Şensöz to achieve new heights and resume his position as Executive Vice President of Sales & Marketing.”

“We wish both Thomas Konietzko and Cem Şensöz the best for their new beginnings and future endeavours.”
