ATC launches CargoBooking in Germany

ATC wins ITA Airways contract

ATC’s recently launched e-booking platform ‘CargoBooking’ starts in Germany with one big airline from their portfolio and will be rolled out among the GSSA’s global network of 34 countries within the next weeks. The portal guides the user easily through the booking process by automated proposals and customised choices.

Customers can make inquiries quickly and easily with just a few clicks. The CargoBooking platform allows the customer to request air cargo quotes, compare spot rates, book the AWB, and track the full end to end journey.

Using the latest AI (Artificial Intelligence), CargoBooking also eradicates many of the manual entry processes required today.

In short, the system offers following benefits:

• direct connection via internet portal: book.atc-aviation.com

• an easy-to-use interface that replaces emails

• faster processing of inquiries from the moment of request send request via email and receive offers immediately from the system, straight booking by at the push of a button

• on time availability of all information on any place of the world Further system enhancements are currently in the test phase and will follow shortly

“We are continuously working to make the booking experience even smoother for our users. 80% of our customers are happy to handle simple inquiries by themselves. The channel is already in use in test markets and has found lively interest”, commented Paul Breburda, ATC vice president commercial and leading the implementation on ATC side.

Tristan Koch, chief commercial officer, Awery Aviation Software: “We are delighted to be working with ATC and helping them with their adoption of the very latest technologies to bring their clients a fully integrated, digital online user experience. As one of the largest GSSA Groups in the world ATC manages vast volumes of enquiries, data and bookings across numerous airline partners’ networks.

Awery was chosen to assist ATC in ensuring that these functions could all be managed as efficiently as possible and deliver best in class User Experience both for clients and internal staff. Having ATC as our launch partner has been a huge success and we are already seeing the benefits for them, and their clients being realised.”

“With the new e-booking tool, we are improving the digital interface to our customers, which is available 24/7. The personal contact through our sales staff will continue to be maintained and focused on individual needs. The e-booking platform is the next big step to continue our digital growth path besides other IT tools supporting our operational efficiency”, said Ingo Zimmer, CEO ATCs.
