Hermes expands India product team

Hermes Logistics Technologies (HLT), IT solutions provider to the global air cargo industry, has made four recent appointments to its India product team, growing its talent pool in the region.

The Hermes India product team was officially created earlier this year, in line with HLT’s ongoing commitment to the growth of its product team, in order to provide better service and solutions to its customers.

“Our product tam in India consists of true air cargo subject matter experts that are also highly skilled product specialists with a passion for providing digital solutions to their industry,” said Simon Elmore, chief operating officer (COO), HLT.

“The team’s remit is to provide a gold standard of support and to help with business analysis and implementation activities.”

The India Product Team is now located across both Pune in Maharashtra and New Delhi; prior to the creation of this team, HLT’s presence in India was through its Pune office only, with a focus on development and quality control.

Pune is an important area of India for technology, while New Delhi is a key region for cargo.

The India time zone, meanwhile, increases HLT’s ability to support its growing number of customers in Asia.

“The India Product team is being mentored by HLT’s Product Directors who have been at HLT from day one and are considered to be global experts in their fields,” said Yuval Baruch, chief executive officer (CEO), HLT.

“We will be continuing to develop our product, technical & delivery teams in Europe and India in the coming months in line with HLT’s business surge as well our wider strategy to grow our global presence and enhance our customer offering.”
