Spirit re-awarded CIEV

Spirit Air Cargo Handling successfully complete the IATA CEIV Pharma re-certification in Scandinavia at Copenhagen.

This reaffirms Spirit’s ability to handle air cargo shipment with Covid-19 vaccines, other pharmaceuticals and medical equipment that requires correct temperature-controlled handling and storage.

Performed by an IATA appointed independent, the audit, prior to receiving the second IATA CEIV Pharma certification at CPH, confirms and approves that Spirit’s management, and quality systems, processes, procedures, policies and facilities are in compliance with the demands for handling of these important shipments.

“We are very proud to receive the IATA CEIV Pharma certificate for the second time, as this means we, once again, have achieved one of the highest standards recognised by the pharmaceutical and the air cargo industries,” commented Hans-Henrik Spangenberg, CEO of SAS Ground Handling Denmark A/S.
