WAMOS Air reinvents itself in difficult times

THE Spanish airline has transformed one of its passenger aircraft to a cargo aircraft with the purpose of transporting up to 48 tonnes of sanitarian and humanitarian supplies.
Madrid-based Wamos Air has converted an Airbus A330-200 from passenger use to freight movements, creating up to 250 cu m of capacity.

The operator is the first Spanish company to have made such a transformation.
Wamos Air has performed several cargo flights in which it has transported medical and humanitarian supplies on routes such as Hong Kong-Barcelona, Shanghai-Madrid or Hong Kong-Guatemala, says the airline.
