Etihad temporarily suspends Abu Dhabi transit services

Etihad has temporarily suspended transit travel through Abu Dhabi International Airport as of 22:00 (UAE local time) on March 23.

Passengers booked on connecting flights that pass through the airport will not be allowed to travel. Only UAE citizens, their immediate family members, diplomatic passport holders, and those with UAE-API clearance will be allowed entry into Abu Dhabi.

Etihad Airways will temporarily suspend all flights from 23:59 (UAE local time) on Wednesday 25 March for an initial period of 14 days, following a decision by the United Arab Emirates government.
