LATAM Cargo flies Hurricane Dorian aid to Bahamas

LATAM Cargo has provided an aircraft to transport 35 tonnes of humanitarian aid to the Bahamas following Hurricane Dorian.

The chartered Boeing 767-300BCF was flown to Nassau and carried medicines, medical instruments, sanitary and edible items from Miami.

The aid was collected by the UPS Foundation, and was distributed among hospitals and foundations on the islands.

Andres Bianchi, CEO of LATAM Cargo says: “The Humanitarian Relief Plane is a true reflection of the LATAM Group’s desire to contribute to our community through concrete actions, acting when we’re needed the most. As we have done before in other countries in Latin America, we continue to be available for collaboration in mitigating the suffering of those most affected by natural disasters.”
