RACCA becomes member of Flight/Duty Time ARC

The US Regional Air Cargo Carriers Association’s (RACCA) own John Hazlet and Bill Cush of Massachusetts-based Cape Air have been named as representatives on the new Part 135 Pilot Rest and Duty Time Rules Aviation Rulemaking Committee (ARC) tasked to take another stab at developing new rules after two previous efforts failed.

The 20-member group will review current regulations and previous Rest and Duty Time rulemaking efforts and develop recommendations within 16 months. The ARC is in response to a Congressional mandate in the 2018 FAA reauthorisation and includes labour, safety experts and industry.
