WebCargo by Freightos has launched the WebCargo Sky platform, a free service giving forwarders instant access to rates from more than 370 airlines and real-time eBooking.
With WebCargo Sky, forwarders can instantly price airfreight shipments from nearly every global airline, and book real-time capacity on airlines including British Airways, Iberia, Air France KLM and Lufthansa.
The freight sales platform says this makes booking more efficient, shaving days off transit times, reducing costs and improving services for shippers.
Over 1,400 logistics providers use WebCargo Air to access to live pricing and eBooking, and WebCargo Sky will make access to pricing available to any IATA-accredited forwarders for free.

Zvi Schreiber, CEO of the Freightos Group says that by 2020, air cargo will be routinely priced dynamically and booking digitally.

WebCargo says beta users reported saving over one hour per salesperson per day, reducing costs and enabling sales teams to focus on customer service.
Airlines benefitted from access the world’s largest online network of forwarders as a sales channel and reduce 85% of time spent managing sales.
