American Airlines flies priceless Kinsey Collection art to Hong Kong

American Airlines Cargo delivered more than 1,500 kilogrammes of priceless artefacts belonging to the Kinsey African American Art and History Collection to Hong Kong.

The shipment of over 100 artefacts including paintings, sculptures, rare first editions, manuscripts and official records flew from Los Angeles, and working with fine art shippers, Cookes Crating were transported to The University of Hong Kong Museum and Art Gallery.

American Airlines Cargo managing director cargo sales – Western Division, Joe Goode says: “With priceless artefacts like those in this collection, we offer customers peace of mind with our High Value service, which includes enhanced safety and security measures, such as special handling and surveillance at every touch point.”

The Kinsey family has had a long relationship with American, and general manager and chief curator of The Kinsey Collection, Khalil Kinsey says: “The Cargo division provided a smooth and efficient experience that gave us great comfort and confidence that our crates full of priceless contents would be handled with the utmost care, as well as arrives safely and on time.”
