Freight forwarder DSV has appointed two new divisional chief commercial officers (CCO) to “further develop our commercial activities and customer relationships”.
The new team of divisional CCOs are for DSV Air & Sea Holding, Michael D. Hansen; DSV Road Holding, Wilbert Tholhuijsen; DSV Solutions, Meinderdjan Botman; and DSV Sub Saharan Africa, Jenny Purchase.
All DSV divisions and Sub Saharan Africa now have a CCO. The divisional CCOs report directly to their divisional chief executive officer (CEO) – and are members of the DSV Global Commercial Organisation’s (GCO) senior management team lead by global CCO René Falch Olesen.
DSV CEO, Jens Bjørn Andersen says: “We have appointed the new divisional CCOs to strengthen the ties between our global commercial organisation and the business. We want to continuously improve our performance in serving new and existing customers across DSV – and we hope this will be a significant step in that direction.”
Olesen adds: “We want to ensure structure and consistency in our approach to our global markets and customers. The divisional CCOs will have a central position to influence the commercial direction and cooperation between both our countries and divisions. We are convinced that this strategic move will have that exact effect.”
