Changi Airport has continued its strong growth in 2016 with April seeing volumes increase by 7.2 per cent year-on-year to 153,400 tonnes.

The airport in Singapore has seen growth of at least four per cent in every month of 2016 so far, with exception of February, which increased by 0.1 per cent to 136,100 tonnes. Between January and April, volumes have increased by 4.3 per cent to 629,700 tonnes.

During the past month, Changi has welcomed new and increased services, including four times a week Tigerair flights to Wuxi in China, three times a week to Jeddah in Saudi Arabia with Scoot, and Qantas has increased Melbourne flights from seven a week to 10.
