SCALA has announced a strategic partnership with Optilogic, an AI-driven supply chain design software provider, strengthening its network modelling, optimisation, and scenario planning capabilities for clients operating in complex and volatile markets.
The agreement formalises SCALA’s use of Optilogic’s cloud-native supply chain design platform, Cosmic Frog, which enables risk-informed network design, rapid scenario modelling and advanced analytics across end-to-end supply chains. Together, SCALA and Optilogic will support organisations to design supply chain networks that strike the right balance between cost efficiency, service performance, and resilience in an increasingly complex and uncertain operating environment.
Through the partnership, SCALA will combine its consulting expertise in supply chains with Optilogic’s advanced modelling technology. This allows clients to stress-test decisions, evaluate trade-offs, and make evidence-based choices that support long-term resilience and growth.
SCALA has already applied Optilogic’s technology across a range of client projects, including a greenfield network analysis for a major home appliance brand to assess optimal depot locations, a European network optimisation study for a leading FMCG business, and greenfield modelling for a third-party logistics provider to support warehouse relocation decisions.
Jonathan Clark Whitehead, head of modelling at SCALA, said: “This partnership strengthens our ability to help clients overcome some of the most difficult issues they face today, from where to locate assets to how to balance cost efficiency with resilience and risk. By combining SCALA’s practical, evidence-led consulting approach with Optilogic’s industry-leading modelling platform, we can support faster, more informed decision-making in an increasingly uncertain operating environment.”
Duncan Mack, channel and partner lead at Optilogic, added: “SCALA has deep, hands-on experience in supply chain and logistics transformation. By working together, we can make sure our technology supports better, practical decisions that genuinely help businesses shape and improve their supply chain networks.”
As part of the partnership, SCALA and Optilogic will work together to share insight and advance industry best practice. In March 2026, SCALA will present alongside Optilogic and Fourier-E at a supply chain conference in South Africa, bringing all three partners together for the first time to share international best practice in network optimisation and supply chain design.
The partnership reflects SCALA’s continued commitment to industry collaboration and advancement, helping organisations build resilient, future-ready supply chains through strategic insight, practical delivery, and advanced analytics.
