Global GSA Group and WestJet Cargo are highlighting the strength of their long-standing partnership in the UK, which has delivered consistent annual growth of 20–30% since Global GSA Group began representing WestJet Cargo in the market in 2019.

Over the past six years, the collaboration has evolved from establishing WestJet Cargo’s commercial presence to driving strategic growth and strong brand recognition across the UK. Leveraging Global GSA Group’s local market expertise, deep freight forwarder relationships, and close operational coordination, the partnership has steadily increased tonnage, market share, and customer confidence.

London, particularly London Heathrow Airport, has been central to this success. As one of Europe’s leading cargo hubs, Heathrow provides vital connectivity between Canada, the UK, and continental Europe, with daily Boeing 787 services reinforcing WestJet Cargo’s credibility as a reliable transatlantic cargo operator supporting both general and specialized cargo flows.

“Our collaboration with Global GSA Group in the UK is built on trust, shared ambition, and mutual commitment,” said Wayne Davidson, Head of Sales at WestJet Cargo. “By working closely together, we’ve achieved sustained growth while strengthening our position across key cargo segments and reinforcing our long-term commitment to the UK and wider European market.”

“This partnership perfectly reflects our approach to building sustainable airline relationships,” said Aytekin Saray, CEO of Global GSA Group. “Together with WestJet Cargo, we have delivered consistent growth across general cargo and specialized products such as perishables, seafood, and live animal transport, supported by strong local expertise, close operational collaboration, and increasing digital enablement.”

Together, Global GSA Group and WestJet Cargo remain firmly committed to building on this momentum, further strengthening WestJet Cargo’s position in the UK through continued growth, reliable capacity, digitally supported services, and high-quality cargo solutions for customers across the region.
