Flying! I think it would be amazing to fly like Superman.

I try not to have regrets. Some of my proudest moments are personal—getting married, having my kids, and welcoming my grandkids. Those are all meaningful moments for me.

If there was a movie made about your life, who would you like to see play the lead role?

I’d like to say Matt Damon, but they’d probably cast someone nerdier!

Looking back over your career, what would your message be to someone considering a career in logistics?

Patience is key. You need a lot of it in this field.

How do you motivate your team?

I try to be honest and share my excitement about our vision and the difference we can make. It’s also important to be open about the challenges and problems along the way.

Who is your role model?

I don’t have a single role model, but I learn from great business builders like Jeff Bezos and others in the industry.

What would your autobiography be called?

I’m not sure I’d ever write one, but if I did, maybe something simple like “My Life.”

Cats or dogs?

Dogs, if I have to choose.

Early riser or night owl?

Definitely a night owl.

What’s the best and worst purchase you’ve ever made?

My house is probably my best purchase. As for the worst, nothing comes to mind.

If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Breakfast cereal, like cornflakes!

What’s your most used emoji?

I’m not big on emojis, but I’d say the thumbs-up emoji gets the most use.
