How did you get into airfreight/logistics?

Like many people in the industry, I fell into the world of logistics. Whilst looking for a new challenge,  I was presented with the opportunity to join Air Cargo Week – I took it and haven’t looked back since.

If you could have dinner with any three people, living or dead, who would it be and why?

Lewis Hamilton – As a Formula 1 fan, it’d be a dream to sit down with, statistically, the greatest driver in the sport’s history.
Roman historian Seutonius – I spent two years studying his work ‘The Twelve Caesars’, so it’d be fascinating to speak to someone from that era.
Judi Dench – Given her 65-year career in film, theatre and television, you can guarantee she would have some enthralling stories to share.

What hobby have you always wanted to try but never got around to?

It’d be brilliant to learn how to fly – I’ve had one lesson but, as anyone who’s got their licence will know, it’s not a cheap hobby.

If you could have any superpower, what would it be?

Teleportation – In this industry, it’d save a lot of time!

What quote has most resonated with you?

“Experience is the teacher of all things” – Julius Caesar.

If there was a movie made about your life, who would you like to see play the lead role?

I’d settle for Tom Holland

What is the one item you can’t travel without?

My phone

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?

Focus on what you can control.

Cats or dogs?

Dogs – Had quite a few over the years – Two mixed breads, a Chihuahua X Border Terrier and three Jack Russells.

What’s something we wouldn’t know about you from your CV?

I learned to ride on Balthazar King – an 8-time Cheltenham winner and runner-up in the Grand National.

Early riser or night owl?

Night owl.

If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Salmon poke bowl.

What’s your most used emoji?

🤣
